Ozzie Guillen, manager of the 2005 World Series champion Chicago White Sox, has frequently been quoted saying, "It's better to be lucky than good."
Perhaps echoing Guillen's elaboration of the theme, White Sox catcher Chris Widger said, "We've heard that we are lucky, but I think you make your own luck."

Serendipity.
The New Orleans flags can be purchased only through City Hall. I had to go to the office building across from the dome with the upscale McDonald's in the basement, if you know that one. There are administrative offices for the mayor up on one of the top floors. Check the city website through the Office of Economic Development
